LANDOVER, Md. – Junior Rachel Webb placed fourth in the 5,000 meters in a personal-best time for the NSU women’s track and field team on Thursday in first-day action at the 2015 MEAC Indoor Track & Field Championships at the Prince George’s Sports & Learning Complex.
Webb crossed the line in 18 minutes, 25.23 seconds to earn NSU five points.
Only two events were contested on Thursday, the 5,000 and long jump. Florida A&M and Morgan State are co-leaders with 14 points, while Bethune-Cookman and North Carolina Central are tied for third with 10. N.C. A&T has eight and UMES six.
